Across Canada, companies of all sizes are making the switch to Android-based mobile devices because of their proven effectiveness to improve business efficiency. Research that was organized by Motorola Mobility showed that more than one-third of businesses across the nation are considering switching to Android smartphones.

The easy use of the Motorola ATRIX 4G, especially with emails, calendars and synching, was one of the main reasons why 34 percent of small businesses, 55 percent of medium companies and 65 percent of large enterprises prefer the Android-based smartphone. The high-quality security was another reason why business owners and employees like the smartphones.

"We are clearly seeing a shift to the Android platform for corporate use as companies of all sizes look to provide a workable mobile culture for their employees", said Sheldon Hebert, senior director of global enterprise sales at Motorola Mobility. "Motorola Android devices offer an unmatched productivity suite relative to any handset on the market and more robust security features."

Smartphones are becoming more prevalent in the workforce. According to a study by Ring Central, more than three-quarters of business owners use their smartphone as the main phone for conducting business. With the proper mobile device management policy, any business can benefit from the use of smartphones.
